Mera Terah Run 2021 is back.
The pandemic, like it has done with so many things in the world, forced us to bring our runs to a grinding halt. Until now.
As the country braces itself and soldiers on - double vaccinated and all - we are excited to restart our annual run for a cause with renewed vigour, optimism and hope.
In keeping with the spirit of Mera Terah Run - to run, travel and discover new places, help support a cause - the vote has been unanimously in favour of discovering the spectacular Chilika Lake, Odisha.
And the cause is to support Wildlife For Cancer (WFC) - a dear friend Ramki Srinivasan’s initiative to raise awareness and funds to support kids suffering from eye cancer using wildlife as a channel. It also doubles as shining a light on conservation and related efforts across the country.
Travel + Wildlife + Conservation + Cancer Awareness + Support = MTR + WFC Makes perfect sense we think.
We invite you to be part of MTR 2021.
You could join us on the Yatra in December.
Alternatively, you could support it by running wherever you are based.
In the following messages we will share tentative details of the yatra - travel, stay, run, exploration, community interaction, cause, fund raise etc.
Also watch this space for more details.
